Do you know 90% Women wear the wrong size BRA, yet never know it. Now-a-days, most lingerie shops have experts who will help you with the right sized bra. But if you are the shy types and would much rather measure yourself than letting anyone else do it for you, here's a step-by-step guide to measuring yourself:

Step 1- Measuring the Band or Under-bust size:
In simple terms, the band size means which size bra you should purchase. Stand erect with your back and shoulders comfortably straight. You should not push your chest out nor should you hold your breath. Hold a measuring tape flat on your rib cage just below your breasts at the place where you would fasten the bra strap. Ensure that the tape is parallel with the ground and not tilted. You will have to stand in front of a mirror while you measure yourself or you can ask someone (probably your mum or your sister) to measure you.

If the measurement is even, add 4 to the number and if the measurement is odd, add 5 to the number.

For example:
If it shows 26" on the measuring tape add 4, which means your bra size is 30. But if the measuring tape shows 27 add 5 which makes your bra size 32.

Step 2- Measuring the Cup or Over Bust size:
Straight ramrod straight (ok we are kidding... standing straight will do). Hold the measure flat against the fullest part of your breasts ie. over your nipples. Ensure that the tape is parallel with the ground and not tilted. Subtract your band measurement from your cup measurement.

For example:
If Your band size shows 26" when measured so you add 4 to it which makes it 30. And your cup size measurement shows 32". Here difference is 30- 32" - 30" = 2 inch it's mean your size is 30 B

If difference is between Over Bust and Under bust are :
-1 inch AA
1-2 inches A
2-3 inches B
3-4 inches C
4-5 inches D
5-6 inches E or DD
6-7 inches F or DDD or EE
7-8 inches G or FF or EEE
